VFLW Gulls push for senior call up in Community Wrap Up 

 

There were some encouraging performances from our women in community football as we take a look at how they fared for their respective clubs

Jess Bartolo was a rock in defence all day in Keilor's 9 point win over Western Spurs in the Northern League. Bartolo impressed with her ball use and decision making.

In VAFA action, Lauren Suleiman ran all day off half back, but it wasn't enough for Old Trinity as they fell to Kew AFC by 29 points. While in VAFA B Jess Malouf was named best on ground as West Brunswick edged St. Mary's Salesian by 5 points. Malouf was lively across half forward and played a vital role in West Brunswick's attacks.

In AFL Goldfields Rachael Jackson dominated the clearances for Melton Centrals in their big win over Ballarat, while Jess Kile was again named in the best as Carisbrook held off Gisbone to run out victors by 16 points.
