Seaview Williamstown hosts Hobsons Bay Community Fund

On a beautiful winters day, Seaview Williamstown hosted the third annual Hobsons Bay Community Fund Business Lunch.

In what was a fantastic event catered by our major partner Hellenic, the lunch was held to help the Hobsons Bay Community Fund continue its great work providing grants to local community groups.

Adrian Butera did a great job as MC, auctioning off a number of items (including ‘nothing’) to raise funds for the charity.

Williamstown Football Club was well represented by President Michael Howlett, directors Merryl Dooley and Darren Whitelegg, Community Sub-Committee member Simon Woolley, CEO Jason Reddick and Senior Coach Andrew Collins. The Club’s number one ticket holder and local State MP, Wade Noonan, was also in attendance.

Williamstown Football Club is currently working with Melbourne University on a Hobsons Bay Community Funded project to drive inclusion of disabled people into sporting clubs. Further information on this important community initiative will be announced by the club soon.
