Seagulls' community festivities

Williamstown Football Club is proudly supporting three different community events which are fast approaching.

The first of those events is the 2019 MND Golf Day on November 8, co-run by VFL footballer Nick Mellington.

The annual event aims to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease research - a condition effecting the nerve cells, causing weakness in muscles eventually leading to paralysis - all while enjoying a great day of golf.

Several players and Williamstown representatives, including coach Andy Collins and CEO Jason Reddick, have agreed to take part in the day.

The club strongly encourages supporters to play a round of golf and support a great cause. Tickets can be purchased through the following link:

Next up is the Williamstown Heritage Beer and Cider Festival on November 16.

After being asked to support the event, Williamstown FC also connected the Les Twentyman Foundation as the key charity partner of the festival.

There will be many fundraising opportunities on the day of the festival to donate to the Les Twentyman Foundation, which aims to provide positive intervention and unconditional support for at-risk youth.

The Club is proud to play its part in growing a local community festival whilst also driving much needed funds for the Les Twentyman Foundation that will be used to provide troubled youth services in our local Hobsons Bay area.

The Seagulls will also have joint presentation with the Williamstown Juniors at this year's Williamstown Primary School Seaside Fair on November 17.

Their presentation on the day will feature handball targets and of course everyone's favourite mascot, Speccie!
