Ruckman Gray signs with Williamstown
Williamstown has signed 203cm ruckman Jackson Gray from Sandgate Football Club in Queensland.
The 21-year old becomes the fourth new recruit this off-season, as the club continues to bolster its list heading into 2017.
Football Manager Chris Dixon was excited to announce that Gray had signed on with the Seagulls.
"Jackson is an extremely exciting prospect and one we're delighted to bring into our program," he said.
"For someone of his height he is extremely athletic, and possesses great skills particularly with his ruck craft and by foot."
"He is looking forward to continuing his football development in the VFL and he's the type of player that I believe will be attracting a lot of attention from AFL scouts in the future."
Boasting an impressive highlight reel, Dixon believes that the Seagulls faithful will be naturally drawn to the 203cm big man.
"It's very exciting to have Jackson down at Burbank Oval in 2017 and I'm sure all of our supporters will enjoy watching him play in Williamstown colours next season."
"VFL is obviously a step up from the QAFL where he has been playing this season, but already we can see Jackson is extremely ambitious and hard-working and will be a great addition to our program."
