Catterall has had a well-credentialed career as a player in women's state league football, with career highlights such as:
Premiership player at St. Albans in 2011.
AFL Vic Metro representative player from 2006-2012.
AFL state representative player from 2007-2012.
Leading goal kicker of the Women's Premier Division (now VFLW) in 2012.
Played for Melbourne in the inaugural AFL Women's match in 2013.
Premiership player at Deer Park in 2016.
Played for St. Kilda Sharks from 2013-2015, and again in 2017.

Youth Girls Coach at St. Albans from 2009-2012. Player Development Coach at Deer Park in 2016. Assistant Coach at St. Kilda Sharks in 2017.
