All systems go for Saturday night blockbuster

After being shifted from Downer Oval to Avalon Airport Oval for last weekend's home game against Geelong, Williamstown's VFL side is back on home soil for their final home game of the regular season.

AFL turf consultants deemed the Downer Oval surface to be fit for this week's battle against arch rival Werribee under lights following multiple visits to the ground.

It remains to be a huge encounter for both teams, with the two finals-bound sides going head-to-head with plenty at stake.

A win to the Seagulls could see them potentially host a home final against Footscray in the first week of the finals, while the Tigers will look to enter their first finals series in 20 years as a stand-alone club with a confidence-boosting win.

In what is set to be a fun-filled night, kids are encouraged to wear their capes and masks for kids superhero night - featuring some of their favourite superheroes!

Our 2019 Monster Raffle will also be drawn at the after match presentation at Seaview Events Centre, where a 12-night Pacific Island Cruise and multiple cash prizes are bound to be won! Click HERE for tickets.
