Ben Kennedy Stands with Us

Williamstown Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of former Collingwood and Melbourne forward/mid Ben Kennedy.  

Kennedy, 24 spent three seasons at Collingwood where he played 25 games after being picked with selection 19 in the 2012 National Draft.

He crossed to Melbourne in 2016 and played a further 15 games, with his time with Melbourne coming to an end in 2017. 

This season Kennedy played with Montmorency in the Northern Football League where he was named in the Team of the Year following a stellar year at community level. 

“Certainly from a positional perspective, we are pleased to have Ben come on board for the next two seasons given the loss of Ben Cavarra and Lachie Schultz through the draft last Friday. Ben’s experience at AFL level will be an asset to the Club and he his looking forward to returning to State League footy” said GM-Football Stephen Soulsby
