8 of our boys and 1 of our girls featured in community club football, whilst we had 2 participate in the AFL Victoria Community Cup.

In Division 1 of the Northern Football League, Fletcher Carroll worked hard all day as Heidelberg defeated Montmorency by 14 points, whilst Jaylon Thorpe kicked 1 goal but it wasn’t enough for West Preston Lakeside as they went down to North Heidelberg by 9 points. In Division 2, Corey Sleep continued his recent run of form with 2 goals and was amongst the best for Lower Plenty as they defeated Watsonia by 33 points.

In the EDFL, Daylan Kempster kicked 2 goals in Maribyrnong Park’s comfortable 58 point win over West Coburg.

In the South Eastern Football League, Bailey Morrish’s best efforts weren’t enough for Beaconsfield in their 4 goal defeat to Pakenham, while in the WRFL Mitch Norton was amongst Altona’s best in their 70 point win over Spotswood in his first game back from injury.

In the Ballarat Football League, Liam Carter’s return from injury went well with 2 goals and a best on ground performance as he led an inaccurate Melton to a 14 point win over North Ballarat City.

In Ballarat for the AFL Victoria Community Cup, Darby Henderson featured for Vic Country U19s but despite his best efforts they were unable to defeat VAFA U19s, going down by 23 points. Lachlan Bramble featured for Vic Country seniors, kicking a goal in their impressive 25 point win over Vic Metro.

In the South Eastern Women’s League, Shani Dixon kicked 1 goal and was best on ground for Cranbourne in their 39 point win over Mornington.
