Newletter – February 2018
As President of the Gulls I’m always keen to implement any improvements or changes with regards to how we can support the Football Club.
This year I will be establishing a small committee to decide what we do for the year. I would like to schedule all events and activities and provide a calendar so all members and the Club are across what we have committed to for the year. Whilst I’m happy to represent members for many things I am looking for your support and input, so I would appreciate if some members can join me on the committee.
2018 Membership – Stand With Us
This year there is a big focus on how we can increase our membership for 2018. I’ve taken on a volunteer role as Membership Sales Coordinator. This involves implementing various Membership Sales strategies. I would love to get some feedback/suggestions from coterie members. I’m also keen to discuss as members what we can do help drive this initiative. This year we also have the new ‘Seagulls Savers” which offers lots of new benefits to members. So, get on board early in 2018 so you can commence accessing these benefits.
Fundraising is really a big part of what we do as the Coterie group. Once the committee is established we will discuss fundraising activities for 2018. We will support the Club by raising funds towards GPS trackers. Some members have expressed interest in making a donation. To make a donation please click on the link below.
Our first social function for 2018 – Thursday 22nd February
I thought this year it would be nice to have a pre season get together. I have booked the small room at the Stags Head Hotel for 5:00pm on Thursday the 22nd February to meet for a drink, followed by dinner for those who are interested. I have invited Jason along as I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with information about our membership strategies and in particular, to discuss the contribution of the coterie group. Both Jason and are keen to get your feedback. For those coming to dinner can you please let me know by Friday the 16th so I can ensure I book enough tables.
