Jolley, Cordy return for vital Tigers clash

Williamstown will welcome back skipper Ben Jolley and key forward Ayce Cordy to a Seagulls side that is aiming for a third straight victory against Richmond on Sunday at Burbank Oval.

After serving his two game suspension, Cordy will return to shore up a Seagulls forward line which has booted 37 goals in the past two weeks, while Jolley returns after being a late withdrawal from last weekend's clash with North Ballarat.

Headlining the match will be Adam Marcon, who will play his 100th VFL game, coincidentally against his previous club Richmond, with whom he won last year's VFL best and fairest.

Now a vice-captain with the Seagulls, Marcon has picked up where he left off as a vital part of the 2015 premiership side, regularly featuring in the side's best players over the first five rounds of the season.

Recruited to Williamstown from the Northern Blues in 2014 in the club's first season returning as a standalone, Marcon has been one of the most influential players at the club in the new standalone era, both on and off the field. The club wishes him all the best for Sunday's match.

After impressing last weekend, Dandenong Stingray Bailey Morrish will again be given 23rd man duties.

It's another split weekend of football for the Seagulls this week, with the Development team facing Werribee at Burbank Oval tomorrow at 10.00am, followed by the seniors taking on Richmond at Burbank Oval on Sunday at 2.00pm.
