Seagulls Add TAC Cup Trio

Williamstown Football Club is thrilled to announce the signings of Bailey Morrish,Cooper Stephens and Darby Henderson for the 2018 season.

Morrish, 19, is from the Dandenong Stingrays from the TAC Cup and also played a couple of games for the Seagulls as the 23rd man last season.

The classy half back with elite kicking skills will look to cement his spot in the senior side in 2018 after getting a taste of the action this season. With some senior experience already don't be surprised if he does that sooner rather than later.

Stephens, 18 comes from the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup. Cooper co-captained the side to this years TAC Cup premiership where they defeated the Sandringham Dragons by 2 points.

A penetrating kick, the half back will look to use that out of defence next year. Stephens' endurance is also a standout of his, at this years State Combine he finished second in the Yo-Yo test finishing behind current Seagull Brett Bewley.

Henderson, 18 comes from the Bendigo Pioneers where he won their best and fairest in 2017 after coming runner up n 2016. Henderson also played last season in our Development side in a win over Werribee.

Darby was a standout in a tough season for the Pioneers, the midfielder averaged almost 30 possessions a game and will look to have a big impact for the Seagulls in 2018.
