Former Blue and Zebra Join Seagulls

Williamstown Football Club is thrilled to announce the signings of ex- Box Hill ruckman Ryley Monkhorst and former Northern Blue Jaylon Thorpe for 2018.
Monkhorst, 23, also spent time at Sandringham last season playing 10 games in the development side. Travelling from Worri Yallock in the East of Victoria shows his commitment to the side and he will look to cement his place in the ruck for the Seagulls in 2018.
Thorpe, 23 spent the past two seasons at the Northern Blues where he played three games for the Blues last season showing plenty of highlight reel material, which we can expect to see for the Gulls in 2018.
Originally from West-Preston, Thorpe worked his way onto the Northern Blues list and at 193cm has the ability to play in multiple positions and will look to do so for his new club.
