Westbourne Grammar trains at Burbank Oval

Year 10-12 students from Westbourne Grammar recently took part in a training session at Burbank Oval as part of their school football program.

The first 18 team were put through their paces in a school holidays training session, using the Williamstown Football Club's facilities and Burbank Oval as part of the ongoing relationship between the club and Westbourne Grammar.

Director of Football at Westbourne Grammar and current Seagull, Joel Tippett, ran the session for over 20 of the students, taking them through various drills over a two-hour period.

Director of Sport at Westbourne Grammar, Matt Healy, was also on hand to help with the session, while Williamstown premiership coach Andrew Collins also offered some words of advice to the budding young footballers while taking some drills.

Williamstown Football Club will continue to support Westbourne Grammar and their football program as part of the three-year partnership between the two organisations, created earlier this year.
