Draft Me: Megan Williamson

A superb VFLW debut season, Megan Williamson has put her name up to be called at the AFLW Draft in October.

The Bendigo TAC Cup Girls Captain was a shining light for the Pioneers and while only having one win for the season the hard-working midfielder was named in the best on several occasions. Williamson was also named in the Vic Country U18’s Squad this year.

Williamson played a key role in her first VFLW game against Richmond in Round 4 with 15 disposals, 9 tackles, 5 marks and a goal in a very impressive display.

Her form didn’t stop there with another brilliant display against Darebin with 14 disposals, 6 tackles and a goal against last year’s premiers.

Williamson capped of her season with 11 touches, 8 tackles and a goal in a win against the Bombers.

"Megan has great footy IQ and always finds her way through traffic with her great agility. Can always count on her to make the right decision." Williamstown Senior Coach Amy Catterall
