Versatile Hibberd Joins the Gulls 

Williamstown Football Club is excited to announce the signing of former North Melbourne half back Mitch Hibberd.

Hibberd is a versatile athletic defender/midfielder and will add some extra run and carry alongside the likes of Charleston, Greiser and Monk. 

Hibberd, 22 originally from Tasmania was taken with Pick 33 in the 2015 National Draft by North Melbourne and made his debut in 2017 against West Coast playing four games over two years.

In 2018 Hibberd played 16 games for North Melbourne’s VFL side as he pushed for senior opportunities.

"To have Mitch on board will provide us with great flexibility through our defensive and midfield parts of the ground. Mitch’s ability to break lines along with his skill by foot is a tremendous asset to have following the loss of Brett Bewley in the draft last week." said GM-Football Stephen Soulsby.
