Crawford, Paten join the Gulls

.

Williamstown Football Club is excited to announce the signings of Emily Crawford and Jaimi Paten for the 2019 season.

Crawford first started playing for Bacchus Marsh in 2015 and immediately made an impact finishing runner up Best & Fairest in 2016 as well as making the VWFL All Stars Game. Crawford spent time at Geelong VFLW in 2017 before returning to Bacchus Marsh and winning their club Best & Fairest in 2018.

Paten joins the Seagulls after two seasons at Manor Lakes in the WRFL. A fractured fibula caused her to miss most of her first season but bounced back in 2018 to help lead Manors Lakes to a premiership and WRFL Team of the Year honours.

“Jaimi and Emily come into the Club on the back of great seasons at their respective Clubs. Emily in particular brings her experiences at being at Geelong in their first season back in 2017 and coming back into the VFLW at a standalone Club will give her greater opportunities. Jaimi is very well rounded in her skills and athleticism and we are looking forward to seeing what see can do at VFLW level” said GM-Football Stephen Soulsby.
