AFLW Premiership Players Joins Seagulls 


Williamstown Football Club are extremely proud to announce AFLW Western Bulldog Premiership player Jenna Bruton as the latest player signing for the upcoming VFLW season.
Bruton, 22 was named in the Western Bulldogs best players in this years grand final with 13 disposals, 2 marks and 7 tackles as she capped off a fantastic debut season for the Bulldogs.

I played footy with the Trentham juniors when I was 7 up until I was 13 when I was too old to play against boys."
"I took the year off cause there was no where to play then went over to Ballarat to play in the youth girls team for Golden Point until I was too old and then went and played for the St Kilda Sharks until last year before joining the Bulldogs." 

"I'm excited to be a part Williamstown's first ever women's team and hopefully I can help build something special with girls." 
A speedy midfielder with the ability to move into the forward line, Bruton’s impressive 2017 gained her selection in the 2017 VFL Women’s Team of the Year.
Bruton won the St Kilda Sharks best and fairest award for her outstanding 2017 VFL season with the preliminary finalists.
Bruton played all eight games for the Dogs this season and played a pivotal role in getting them to the grand final.
