Dixon & Suleiman re-sign for 2019

Williamstown Football Club can announce the re-signings of Shani Dixon and Lauren Suleiman for the 2019 season.

Dixon had a promising first season in which she played five games. The in and under midfielder worked tirelessly throughout the course of the season and also performed well at community level. She will look to improve on her 2018 season on the back of another pre-season at VFLW level.

Suleiman was another who showed promising signs in her first season for the Gulls, playing four games and showing great signs at local level. Like Dixon, she will look to improve on 2018 and will be bolstered by another pre-season as she pushes for greater senior opportunities in 2019.

“Both players would have gained a lot of knowledge and insight on the requirements at VFLW level during the 2018 season. There is plenty more development that they will achieve over the pre-season and as a Club, we look forward to continuing their development in the 2019 season” said GM-Football Stephen Soulsby.
