Seagulls name first Practice Squad   

Williamstown fans will get their first look at several new recruits in our first practice match of the 2019 season against traditional rivals Port Melbourne tomorrow at City Oval in Ballarat.

Mitch Hibberd, Sam McLarty, Liam Hunt, Joel Ottavi and Nick Mellington are just some of the new faces who will wear the jumper for the first time as part of the 31-man squad.

The side will also feature several young Seagulls headed by Bailey Morrish, Darby Henderson and Cooper Stephens with the support of experienced trio Jason Pongracic, Jake Greiser and Billy Myers.

Port Melbourne is coming off their first practice last week against the Northern Blues and will also be carrying a large squad as they look to refine there squad over the coming weeks ahead of the Round 1 under lights at Williamstown.

City Oval is the premier community oval in Ballarat, with perfect ground conditions giving both teams ideal preparation ahead of the 2019 season.
