As leagues enter their final weeks and some even beginning their finals, we had six girls play for their community clubs in search of important wins; let’s take a look at how they went.

Starting in the WRFL where two goals and a 5th best performance from Kayla Koropeckyj as well as another strong showing from Shani Dixon helped Spotswood to an easy 112-point win over Werribee Centrals to remain 3rd whilst Emily Gardner was impressive in a tough day for Point Cook, going down to league leaders Manor Lakes by 143 points.

In the VAFA Premier Women’s Division, Scarlett Dunell helped St Kevins to a nail-biting three-point win over Old Trinity to earn a week off as they go through to the grand final whilst in Division 2, Kasie Nugent kicked a goal and Sally Seabrook was solid for Westbourne, as they defeated Whitefriars OC by 42 points to move into the preliminary final.
