VFL practice matches announced

Williamstown has locked in four pre-season practice matches in the build up to the 2020 season proper, with match-ups against rivals Port Melbourne and Footscray among them.

Due to the unavailability of our home ground until April, all practice games will be played at away venues.

Our first match up will be against our traditional rivals Port Melbourne on Saturday, February 29 at LaTrobe University for a 1pm start.

This will be followed by taking on western rival Footscray at Whitten Oval on Saturday, March 7 - also at 1pm.

The third match will see us take on Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, March 21 at 11:45am, before our fourth and final game at 12pm, Saturday March 28 against Sandringham at Trevor Barker Oval concludes our pre-season schedule.

All four matches are free to attend and will provide a great lead up to our 2020 campaign.

We hope as many of our supporters and members can get along and support the side during the five-week period ahead of our Round 1 Downer Oval blockbuster against old foe Port Melbourne!
