2015 Premiership Player Billy Myers has been named to play his first match of 2020 when Williamstown takes on Western Suburbs rival Footscray in Saturday's practice match at Whitten Oval.

The utility has been named in the centre and will be one of three confirmed changes in the squad, with Fletcher McIvor and Jack Papachatzakis also set to take the field.

Last week's stand-in skipper Nick Fothergill and midfielder Jesse Tardio will sit out against the Dogs after featuring in last week's hit out against Port Melbourne at La Trobe University.

The Seagulls unveiled several new faces last weekend, with our youngsters and new recruits again aiming to put their best foot forward as Round 1 against Port Melbourne approaches.

The match will be Footscray's first hit out for 2020 with the side expected to feature a majority of their VFL list as their AFL side takes on Port Adelaide late Saturday afternoon.

There will be free entry to the match.
