Werribee MG announced as major sponsor

The Williamstown Football Club proudly launched a new partnership which will see Werribee MG as a Major Sponsor of the Women’s VFL team for the next three years.

Werribee MGs’ logo will feature prominently on the back of the Women’s Seagulls guernsey at all home and away games.

“We are thrilled that Werribee MG, part of the biggest car dealership in the Western Suburbs, have partnered with our Club in support of our VFLW team” CEO Jason Reddick said. Werribee MG, are part of the Werribee & Western Automotive Group and actively support the local community, charities and sporting clubs in the West.

“Werribee & Western Automotive Group have been long term loyal partners of the Seagulls for many years, and we are excited that they have extended that partnership to now involve our Women’s team. The appeal of an MG vehicle fits well with the new female market that the Club is attracting via the inception of our first women’s team in our 155 year history.”

Chief Operational Officer and Director of Werribee & Western Automotive Group, Kelly Van Blommestein, said the company was delighted in their new venture. “This was an easy decision for Conrad Taylor and I to sponsor the women’s team.

"By having this team it provides opportunities for females in the Western Melbourne region to participate at a state level competition and we are proud to be able to contribute to this.”

The partnership kicked off on Saturday in the inaugural game for the Seagull’s Women’s team against Collingwood and will continue until the end of season 2020.
