VFLW Round 15 squad - Reid returns

Williamstown VFLW captain Jacinta Reid has recovered from a concussion setback and will face Geelong this weekend.

Reid will be joined by Emily Gardner, Emma Inglis, Sally Seabrook, Kasie Nugent, Sophie Barbas and Elizabeth McGrath who replace Jess Thomson, Moana Hope and Madison-Eve Fenech in the side.

The match has been shifted to La Trobe University due to the ground conditions at Downer Oval, with the game to start at 12:30pm.

Geelong sits one spot outside of finals and will be raring to go with just two matches remaining for the home-and-away season, but it provides the Seagulls with a great opportunity to take another scalp.

Williamstown out-marked Darebin in last week's loss at home but didn't adjust to the conditions as well as the Falcons.

They also laid a huge 95 tackles on their Falcons opponents - the most in any of their matches this season.

Midfielders Megan Williamson, Ash Melnikas and Ruby Tripodi (10, nine and nine tackles respectively) led the way on the pressure front in the wet and will again look to apply ample pressure on the Cats.

*Please note due to conditions at Downer Oval, the match has been re-scheduled for 12.30pm at Latrobe University.
