The pair return after missing last week’s win over Sandringham, set to replace Round 4 debutant Camryn Bux and the injured forward Neve Crowley.
Crowley will miss the game due to concussion protocol, while Bux has been named as an emergency alongside Ella Tyson, Amelia Marino, Talia Motta and Melina Ciaverella.
Mahony, who joined the Seagulls this season, is a former Essendon AFLW train-on and finished runner-up in their VFLW Best and Fairest count in 2024.
Known for her contested work and physicality, Mahony featured in the opening four rounds of the season and hopes to add extra grunt to Williamstown’s midfield unit in the coming Blues clash.
O’Bryan, 42, will share the ruck duties with Krystal Russell, who impressed on debut last week with 36 hit-outs and six tackles in a dominant performance against the Zebras.
Also retaining her spot is ball magnet Ash Thorneycroft, who made her first appearance of the 2025 campaign last week. The dynamic midfielder collected 15 disposals – 11 of them contested – and earned the title of Round 5 Seagull of the Week.
The Seagulls will look to build on last weekend’s momentum when they face Carlton at IKON Park. First bounce is scheduled for 11.05am on Sunday morning.
