A look at six performances by Williamstown FC players in local leagues over the weekend of June 21, 2025.

Luke Scicchitano & Jack Noonan – Deer Park Football Club (EDFL Premier Division)

In a high-scoring contest against Keilor, Luke Scicchitano and Jack Noonan stood tall for Deer Park despite the side’s 29-point defeat. Both were named among the best, with Scicchitano producing a standout performance racking up a game-high 32 disposals, including a massive 21 contested possessions. His eight tackles and nine clearances highlighted his work rate on both sides of the ball, and he finished with 146 ranking points which was a testament to his impact all-round. Noonan was also influential, collecting 28 touches of his own with 11 contested, proving to be a valuable contributor around stoppages. He added four marks, four tackles and six clearances, helping to drive the ball forward under pressure. Noonan continues to push his case for VFL selection as Williamstown’s midfield depth builds through the winter. While Deer Park couldn’t reel in Keilor’s firepower, the Seagull duo’s resilience and ball-winning ability were clear positives.

Hamish Morrison – Airport West Football Club (EDFL Premier Division)

Hamish Morrison was a key contributor in Airport West’s dominant 114-point win over East Keilor. He gathered 23 disposals, took nine marks, and delivered five inside 50s in a polished display. Morrison also hit the scoreboard with three goals, capping off one of his most efficient performances of the season. Rated among the most influential, his ability to cover ground and finish plays was a highlight in the commanding victory.

Krissy Trang – Burnside Heights Football Club (EDFL Women’s Division One)

Krissy Trang put together a dominant performance in Burnside Heights’ 39-point win over Coburg, kicking a game-high four goals, which was more than the opposition managed as a team. Recognised as a standout performer, Trang showcased her forward craft and composure, consistently getting to the right spots and finishing with class. She also embodied the Seagull values, combining scoreboard impact with relentless effort off the ball. From tackles to pressure acts, her team-first approach was on full display.

Eloise Burdett-Moore – Kew Senior Women’s (VAFA Premier Women’s)

Despite Kew’s 36-point loss to Old Scotch, Eloise Burdett-Moore delivered one of her strongest performances of the season. Named among the best, she brought relentless effort and leadership across half-back. Her defensive instincts were on full display as she executed timely spoils, tackles, and pressure acts while reading the play to intercept and support teammates. It was a true one-percenters game, with Burdett-Moore’s ability to step up in big moments a clear highlight.

Yasmin Welsford – Strathmore Football Club (EDFL Women’s Division One)

Yasmin Welsford played a key role in Strathmore’s dominant 89-point win over Westmeadows, helping keep the opposition scoreless in a commanding defensive display. Identified as a big contributor, Welsford’s composure and communication stood out, as did her kicking which was arguably the sharpest it’s been all season. She took three intercept marks and worked through a tight tag in the first half, responding with maturity and poise.
