VFLW Team Selection: Seagulls remain unchanged for Kangas

June 27, 2025
Williamstown have confirmed they will stick with last week’s winning team for Saturday morning's Round 10 clash with North Melbourne Werribee at DSV Stadium.

Williamstown has locked in its lineup for Round 10 — and it’s an unchanged 21 for a top-three clash against ladder leaders North Melbourne Werribee.

With both teams sitting on equal points and finals firmly in sight, only percentage separates the Roos (1st) and Seagulls (3rd) heading into the weekend.

It’s the second consecutive double header at DSV Stadium, with the VFLW side set to open the day in front of a home crowd.

Before the first bounce, both teams will take part in a pre-game gift exchange to honour Indigenous Round.

Williamstown will once again celebrate the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players, cultures, and communities — both within the VFL/W and across the wider community.

Senior Coach Liam Cavanagh has shown faith in the group that got the job done against Essendon, backing in the same 21 players to take on the Roos.

Ruck Cat O’Bryan will be managed for another week, while first-year Seagull Talia Motta comes into the emergencies list in place of Molly Simpson, who returns to local football duties this weekend.

Chloe Bain retains her spot after making a return from injury last Saturday — her first VFLW game of the 2025 season.

North Melbourne enter the contest with three consecutive wins under their belt, including a dominant 40-point win over Darebin last weekend.

Williamstown, however, is riding a five-game winning streak and will be looking to keep momentum rolling at home.
