Seagulls Riley Collier-Dawkins, Jack McHale, and Jovan Petric all come into the side for Williamstown’s final home-and-away game of the 2025 season.
Oscar Sasalu (omitted), Cameron Polson (injured) and James Cousins (injured) are the three to make way, with Sasalu joining five others on the emergency list.
Petric headlines this week’s inclusions, having been sidelined since early June with a knee injury after playing consecutively from Rounds 1 to 11.
He returned at local level last weekend, booting two goals for Keilor in their 82-point win over Greenvale.
The second-year Seagull is now set to add to his 14 VFL goals in 2025 as he finishes the home-and-away season back in the lineup.
Collier-Dawkins returns after missing one match with an eye injury sustained in Round 18. The Round 20 bye provided him with an extra week of recovery.
McHale will play his first game in a month following a hamstring injury, his last outing coming in Round 17 against Box Hill.
A victory on Sunday would secure Williamstown a Wildcard Final berth away from home. Defeat would end their 2025 campaign, with Coburg taking their place inside the top 10.
Currently sitting 11th on the ladder, the Seagulls will take to DSV Stadium for the last time this year with everything on the line.
Although the sides haven’t met yet in 2025, Williamstown claimed wins in their last two encounters with Richmond — Round 17 and the Wildcard Final in 2024.
The Seagulls head into the clash refreshed after the Round 20 bye, but the challenge will be significant.
Richmond has recorded two more wins this season than Williamstown, including victories over GWS Giants and Northern Bullants — both sides who defeated the Seagulls.
The Tigers are coming off a 41-point win over Sandringham, while Williamstown has dropped their past four matches.
Still, the Seagulls have proven their ability to rebound, having turned a 1–4 start to the season into an eight-game winning streak.
It’s do-or-die for Williamstown, who risk missing finals for the first time since 2022.
With the VFLW knockout semi-final kicking off just two hours earlier, Sunday looms as the club’s biggest day of the year.
All Seagull supporters are encouraged to pack DSV Stadium in blue and gold this Sunday at 2:05pm against the Tigers. It’s simple: win and they’re in.
