Vines, who oversaw the forward line during the 2025 campaign, has decided to return home to Western Australia to be with family while continuing to further his leadership within football.
In his sole season at Williamstown, Vines played a key role in guiding the Seagulls to finals and was widely respected for his calibre.
Williamstown GM of Football Operations, Ash Collins, thanked Vines for his contribution.
“While it’s always difficult to lose someone with Paul’s experience, we completely understand and support his decision,” Collins said.
“On behalf of everyone at Williamstown, we would like to thank Paul and his family, and wish them all the best as they reunite back home in WA.”
