Colenso and Ollington back up front

October 29, 2025
Williamstown Forwards Nathan Colenso and Heath Ollington have put pen to paper for another season in blue and gold.

A dynamic presence inside 50, Colenso has established himself as one of Williamstown’s most reliable forwards since joining the club in 2023.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a breakout 2024, winning the Most Improved Player Award after ranking among the team’s top tacklers.

In 2025, Colenso played 20 games, averaging 11.6 disposals per game and kicking 30 goals, earning himself eight Best Player honours in the process.

Recruited from Keilor Football Club, where he was part of back-to-back EDFL Premier Division premierships, Colenso also claimed the Reg Rose Medal for best-on-ground in 2024 EDFL Grand Final.

Joining him in recommitting is exciting young forward Heath Ollington, who has quickly made his mark since debuting at VFL level in 2024.

A product of the Tasmanian Devils program, Ollington played a key role in the Allies’ AFL U18 National Championship-winning team.

In 2025, the 21-year-old featured in 18 games, averaging 10.3 disposals per game and kicking 14 goals.

Ollington capped off his season by being awarded Most Promising Player at the Seagulls’ 2025 Presentation Night, highlighting his rapid development, athleticism, and bright future at VFL level.

Williamstown GM of Football Operations, Ash Collins said that both Colenso and Ollington have shown tremendous growth over the past two seasons.

Wearing No. 35 and No. 39, supporters can look forward to seeing Colenso and Ollington carry on their strong 2025 form into the 2026 season in blue and gold.
