A proven performer, Whiting once again demonstrated her class and versatility throughout 2025. While spending significant time across the backline this season, she still found a way to impact the scoreboard, finishing with 13 goals and claiming the Club’s VFLW leading goalkicker award for the second consecutive year.
Whiting featured in 16 games for Williamstown in 2025, earning four best-on-ground honours and polling three votes in the 2025 rebel VFLW Lambert-Pearce medal count.
Her journey with the Seagulls is one built on loyalty and impact. Originally drafted at pick No.36 in the 2019 AFLW Draft to the Carlton Football Club, then recruited to Williamstown, Whiting made an immediate statement in the blue and gold.
In a standout season last year, with a particularly memorable moment from Round 14, when she calmly slotted a 40-metre set shot after earning a free kick–registering Williamstown’s first inside 50 and first goal of the game.
Her commitment ensures the women’s team retain not only a reliable goalkicker, but a versatile and experienced leader within the VFLW program.
Williamstown looks forward to seeing Whiting build on her strong form as the Club prepares for another exciting VFLW campaign.
