After an impressive pre-season campaign, Williamstown will unveil a host of fresh talent in Friday night’s Round 1 clash against Frankston at Kinetic Stadium.
The Seagulls will feature nine new players pulling on the blue and gold for the first time, highlighting an exciting new era for the Club.
Matt Hollier (3), Angus Seivers (45), David Cuningham (2), Josh D’Intinosante (30), Ben Kennedy (23), Tom Fullarton (16) and Braydon Preuss (11) are all set to make their Williamstown debuts, while Max Stobie (28) and Marcus Zipf (50) will make their VFL debuts.
The pair represent an important milestone for the Club, earning their opportunity after strong development in the pre-season and impressive practice match performances.
Williamstown enters Round 1 full of confidence after winning all three of their practice matches, showcasing strong form and cohesion across the group leading into the season opener.
The Seagulls will be eager to carry that momentum into their first test against the Dolphins under Friday night lights.
