Clive was a well-known, born-and-bred Williamstown identity having lived in the area all his life, starting in the family home in Laverton St before moving to his unit in Railway Place about 50 years ago.
Clive spent most of his working life employed at Shell in the city and at the Spotswood terminal. In his private life, Clive was an inaugural member of the Willi Dolphins swimming group which meet at the beach in the early morning every day of the year, and was a committee member and life member of the Williamstown RSL.
He was a regular at the Williamstown Bowling Club and enjoyed a flutter on the horses, including a share in a NZ gelding named Sacred Palace.
Whilst an avid fan of the Seagulls, Clive was also a supporter of the Essendon AFL Club and loved getting up to Eildon in the winter months and also at Christmas where he enjoyed spending time with his brother, nephew and nieces and their partners.
Deepest condolences are extended to the entire Knight family at this sad time.
Funeral details are yet to be announced but a service will be held at Nelson Brothers in Williamstown.
RIP Clive, you will be sadly missed by everyone in the community of Williamstown.
