Williamstown’s VFL side travels to Coburg City Oval this Sunday for Round 10, taking on Coburg at 1:05pm as they look to continue building momentum in the back half of the season.
The match marks an exciting milestone for the Club, with Hayden Gill set to make his Williamstown debut.
Signed during the 2026 pre-season, Gill joins the Seagulls after gaining valuable VFL experience across both Carlton and Werribee programs.
The 23-year-old forward and former Northern Knights product featured in five games for Carlton in 2024 and added another senior appearance with Werribee in 2025.
Gill brings developing talent and added depth to Williamstown’s forward line as he looks to make an immediate impact in blue and gold.
The Seagulls also welcome back Zac Pritchard for his first appearance of the season, returning after stints on the sidelines due to both a rib injury and concussion sustained earlier in the year. His return adds important experience and composure back into the midfield group.
Williamstown will be without Hugo Hall-Kahan and Joel Fitzgerald following their selection in Tuesday night’s AFL Mid-Season Draft, joining Melbourne and Adelaide respectively. Their departures create opportunity for new faces to step into key roles.
2025 debutants Hamilton and Fry come into the side and will assume responsibility in defence, helping to fill the void left by Hall-Kahan. Meanwhile, Willis will take on Fitzgerald’s role as rover in the ruck contest, adding an option around stoppages.
Siren is at 1:05pm at Coburg City Oval, with Williamstown supporters encouraged to get down and back the side away from home.
