Williamstown’s VFL side returns home this weekend for a double-header at DSV Stadium, taking on the GWS Giants on Saturday at 12PM in what will be a crucial clash for the Seagulls.
The Seagulls come into Round 12 looking to bounce back after a heartbreaking one-point loss to Port Melbourne last weekend, a fourth-quarter battle that saw Williamstown fall just short despite a strong showing and encouraging signs from a number of new faces.
Debutants Lachlan Wilson (36) and Ryan Jacobs (37) both impressed in their first outing in blue and gold, adding to a performance that highlighted plenty of potential for the weeks ahead.
As a result, the coaching panel has opted for stability, naming an unchanged line-up for the clash against the Giants.
The opposition presents a significant challenge, with GWS having won three of their last five matches and sitting fourth on the VFL ladder, while Williamstown will be looking to snap a run of three consecutive losses and get their season back on track.
Supporters are encouraged to get down to DSV Stadium for a massive double-header day of football, with the VFL side opening proceedings against GWS at 12:05pm, followed by the VFLW team taking on Sandringham at 4:35pm.
