The Seagulls have named their side for Round 10 of the VFLW season as we prepare for our first-ever clash against the Tasmania Devils tomorrow at our home ground, DSV Stadium.
Fresh off the Round 9 bye, the Seagulls return to action refreshed and ready to continue their strong 2026 campaign, with a highly anticipated matchup against the Devils forming part of a special VFLW and VFL double header.
The Round 10 side will feature a VFLW debut, with Adalita Pizzinga set to pull on the blue and gold for the first time.
After joining Williamstown as a development player in 2026, Pizzinga has earned her opportunity at senior level following a standout first full season in senior football with Essendon Doutta Stars, where she established herself as one of the competition’s leading players in 2025.
Pizzinga will be looking to make an immediate impact as she takes her place in the side for the first time.
There will also be a welcome return for Melina Ciavarella, who will make her first appearance of the 2026 season. After making her VFLW debut in 2025 and quickly making an impact at the club, Ciavarella will return to the field ready to make her mark against Tasmania.
Vice-captain Emily Eaves will miss this week’s clash after sustaining a minor knee injury.
Currently sitting second on the VFLW ladder, the Seagulls will be looking to continue their strong form and secure another important win as they enter the back half of the season, and the race for finals.
Supporters are encouraged to get down early and support the women’s side before the VFL action kicks off, with the VFLW clash getting underway at 10:05am before the men’s game at 12:35pm.
