June worked as a volunteer in the canteen at the football ground alongside Club legend, the late Janet Dooley, for many years and was awarded life membership by the Club in 2011 in recognition of her many seasons of devoted service.
Having been born on January 11, 1933, June was laid to rest in a private cremation at the age of 93. June was the sister of another Club legend and life member, the late Ronnie ‘Hambone’ Johnson.
