The Seagulls have named their side for Round 11 of the VFLW season as we prepare to take on Carlton tomorrow at IKON Park.
Williamstown enters the clash in outstanding form, sitting second on the VFLW ladder with eight wins and seven consecutive victories, as the side looks to continue its momentum in the race towards finals.
The Round 11 side will feature a special club debut, with deputy vice-captain Ellie McLinden set to pull on the blue and gold for the first time.
After nine months of rehabilitation following ACL reconstruction, McLinden has completed her remarkable return to football and will make her long-awaited Williamstown debut against the Blues.
The 28-year-old has played more than 50 VFLW games and captained Box Hill in 2025, highlighting her standing as a respected leader within the competition. A reliable defender with strong game sense, composure and organisational ability, McLinden will play an important role in leading the Seagulls’ backline while providing valuable support to the broader playing group.
There will also be a welcome return for Maighan Fogas, who is set to play her first game since Round 2 after overcoming injury. Camryn Bux and Emily Eaves have also been named to return this week, strengthening the Seagulls’ lineup.
Naomi Ferres will miss the clash after entering concussion protocols.
With the side continuing to build momentum throughout the season, the Seagulls will be looking to extend their winning streak and secure another important four points against Carlton.
The VFLW clash gets underway at 2:00pm at IKON Park, with supporters encouraged to make the trip and cheer on the Seagulls.
