A proven performer under pressure, Turner enjoyed a strong finish to the 2026 season, showcasing his defensive capabilities across the Seagulls’ finals campaign.
The 24-year-old joined Williamstown ahead of the 2025 season after stints with Old Haileybury, Frankston and Casey, before injury delayed his Seagulls debut until Round 1 this year.
Turner featured in eight matches in 2026, averaging 13 disposals and 4.6 marks per game. He lifted during the finals, collecting 16 disposals and 10 marks in the Wildcard Final against Carlton before recording another 16 disposals and eight marks in the Elimination Final against Essendon.
Known for his speed, defensive pressure and ability to read the play, Turner will be looking to build on his promising first season in the blue and gold.

Meanwhile, Queenslander Zipf will continue his development as a ruckman after joining Williamstown from the Wilston Grange Gorillas ahead of the 2026 season.
Standing at 201cm, Zipf made his VFL debut for the Seagulls in Round 1 before adding a second senior appearance against GWS in Round 12. The developing ruck averaged 7.5 hitouts across his two matches, providing valuable depth in the ruck stocks.
With another pre-season ahead, the Club looks forward to seeing Zipf continue to grow his game as he prepares for his second season at DSV Stadium.
