Standing at 202cm, Edwards brings valuable experience from the AFL system, having been selected by North Melbourne with the first pick in the 2021 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

A product of the Sandringham Dragons, Edwards was recognised for his versatility as a key forward and ruckman, with his contested marking, strong reading of the play and ability to impact around goal among his key strengths.

Following three seasons with the Kangaroos, Edwards returned to local football, joining Cheltenham in the Southern Football Netball League. He has since played in three consecutive grand finals, claiming two premierships, while also sharing the club’s Best and Fairest award with former AFL player Jack Lonie.

After rediscovering his passion for the game and continuing to develop his craft at local level, Edwards now makes the move to Williamstown, where he will look to make an immediate impact in the blue and gold.

The Club looks forward to welcoming Edwards to Point Gellibrand for the 2027 season. Edwards is ready for ’27, are you? Get your 2027 Membership now!
