Western Jets
The Western Jets have been our aligned TAC Cup team since 1996, with a strong pathway connection between the two clubs. Many former Western Jets players have progressed to represent Williamstown Football Club, reinforcing the strength of the relationship. On-field, the Western Jets play their home games at Williamstown Football Ground, while coaching staff work collaboratively to support player development, including providing VFL and VFLW 23rd player opportunities where appropriate.
Williamstown Juniors Netball Club (WJNC)
Williamstown Football Club is proud to support and be affiliated with the Williamstown Juniors Netball Club (WJNC). The Club is committed to fostering opportunities for young athletes and supporting the continued growth of netball participation within the local community.
Local Sporting Clubs
The Club supports a wide range of local sporting clubs across the Hobsons Bay area, including Altona Juniors, Newport Power Juniors, Spotswood Juniors, Williamstown Juniors, Laverton Juniors and the Willi Tigers. This support focuses on strengthening community connections and increasing participation in sport. Junior players are regularly invited to take part in halftime grid games at Williamstown Football Ground on home match days, and nominated participants are awarded complimentary Speccie memberships.
With the removal of the AFL Development League, Williamstown Football Club has worked to strengthen its connections with clubs across the Western Region, ensuring close engagement with developing players and coaching groups. This approach has enhanced collaboration and provided clearer pathways between community and elite football.
Auskick Centres
The Club is a strong supporter of all Hobsons Bay Auskick centres, including Williamstown, Newport, Laverton, Spotswood and Altona. Players and coaches regularly visit these centres to run clinics throughout the year, and Auskick participants are invited to take part in halftime grid games during home VFL matches. The Club also supports Auskick centres by providing football equipment and resources to assist participation and development.
Western Region Football League
Williamstown Football Club has been a proud sponsor of the Western Region Football League for the past three seasons. The Club also supports the league by hosting WRFL functions at Seaview Williamstown Events Centre and providing Williamstown Football Ground for WRFL finals and interleague training.
