Now entering his second season with Williamstown, Danny brings over a decade of experience across elite football environments to his role as Senior Assistant Coach.
Joining the Club ahead of the 2025 season from Port Melbourne, where he also served as Senior Assistant Coach, Danny has built an impressive coaching résumé. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Coach at Frankston, further strengthening his understanding of standalone club systems and player development pathways.
His VFL experience also includes roles with the Casey Demons as Senior Assistant Coach in 2016, and with the Sandringham Zebras as Senior Assistant and Midfield Coach in 2012, where he was part of a TAC Cup Grand Final-winning program.
At AFL level, Danny has worked with both St Kilda and Port Adelaide across a variety of roles including Opposition Analyst, Development Coach, and Player Development Manager. His time in the AFL system also included a stint with the Adelaide Crows as a Coaching Consultant under Phil Walsh, providing high-level strategic insight and opposition analysis.
A community-minded leader, Danny is passionate about building strong connections both on and off the field, while driving high-performance standards within the playing group.
With extensive experience across all levels of the game, he remains a valuable part of Williamstown’s coaching panel as the Club continues to build towards sustained success in a highly competitive VFL landscape.
