Ash Thorneycroft enters 2026 as our VFLW Head of Development, leading the progression and performance pathways within the program. After serving as Head of Midfield Development in 2025, she steps into a broader leadership role focused on building individual player growth, driving standards across the group, and supporting the transition of emerging talent into senior football.
A former elite midfielder with a decorated VFLW career, Ash brings first-hand experience, competitiveness and high-performance insight into her coaching. Her focus is on developing consistency, resilience and elite habits across the playing group, helping shape the next generation of Seagulls within the program.
