After a commanding 2025 season, Laura Blue recommitted to Williamstown following 16 games, six Best Player nominations, and one of the standout finals performances of the VFLW season.
Blue’s Elimination Final heroics against Sandringham, featuring six tackles, the most intercept possessions, and repeated acts of defensive pressure earned her Seagull of the Week.
With 96 career games, Blue has become a backbone of Williamstown’s defensive unit since joining from Coorparoo in 2024.
Alongside Blue, emerging defender Camryn Box has also signed on for 2026, following an impressive debut season in the VFLW.
Bux made her VFLW debut in Round 4 and went on to play in both of Williamstown’s 2025 finals matches – an outstanding achievement for a first-year player.
She also displayed excellent form at local level, playing in eight senior games with Essendon Doutta Stars in the EDFL Premier Division, kicking 3 goals and earning seven Best Player selections.
