Williamstown will not see Hamish Murphy and Hamish Morrison in their VFL program next season.
The Club and its supporters are thankful for their contributions during the 2025 campaign.
Both players finish their time with Williamstown after registering one game each this season — Murphy in the No. 30 guernsey and Morrison in No. 46.
The pair made their debuts in Round 4 alongside Ned Pendergast, when the Seagulls hosted Coburg at DSV Stadium on Good Friday.
Although omitted after their debut and not returning to the side, both Murphy and Morrison continued to train with the squad throughout the season and were often named as emergencies.
Away from the VFL, the duo gained consistent game time at local level.
Murphy played 16 games with North Heidelberg in NFNL Division 1, while Morrison featured in 19 games for Airport West in the EDFL Premier Division, where he kicked eight goals.
“We’re grateful to have had both Hamish’s involved in our 2025 season and thank them for their commitment to the Club,” Williamstown’s GM of Football Operations Ash Collins said.
“We wish both players all the best as they take the next step in their careers.”
The pair’s departure marks Williamstown’s first confirmed list changes ahead of the 2026 season.
