At Wednesday night’s team dinner and selection announcement, two much-loved Williamstown VFLW figures — ruck Cat O’Bryan and midfielder Ash Thorneycroft — told their teammates that this finals campaign will be their last at VFLW level.

Senior VFLW Coach Liam Cavanagh has made two exciting changes to the Seagulls’ lineup as the team travels to Sandringham for a knockout clash with the Zebras.

The Williamstown Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the last remaining member of our 1954 premiership team, Johnny ‘Dasher’ Martin, at the age of 92.
