Seagulls confirm another two list changes

October 1, 2025
The Williamstown Seagulls have farewelled Oscar Sasalu and Nathan Jensen.

Sasalu joined the Club in 2024 and made his VFL debut in Round 13 against Sandringham, coming into the side as a late change for former Seagull Corey Ellison.

The tall utility, kicked a goal in his first appearance for the Seagulls and went on to finish the EDFL season with 15 goals for Essendon Doutta Stars.

He featured in a further three games across 2025, travelling to Preston and Southport, as well as lining up at home against Collingwood.

Across two seasons, Sasalu pulled on the blue and gold four times.

Williamstown GM of Football Operations, Ash Collins, acknowledged Sasalu’s commitment during his time at the Club.

“Oscar has showed great resilience this year. His ability to play the role being asked of him and put the team first has been a highlight of his time at Williamstown,” Collins said.

“We look forward to seeing what’s next for him and wish him nothing but the best for the future.”

Jensen joined Williamstown ahead of the 2025 pre-season after spending the previous year on Brisbane’s VFL list.

While he did not make VFL selection in 2025, Jensen was active within the Club’s development program and played the first half of the season at local level with Eltham in the NFNL, before an MCL injury curtailed his year.

Collins thanked both players for their efforts in the program.

“We wish Oscar and Nathan all the best moving forward. They’re always welcome back at DSV Stadium.”
