Seagulls farewell Collier-Dawkins

October 3, 2025
Riley Collier-Dawkins will not be committing to the 2026 VFL season with the Seagulls.

Collier-Dawkins joined the Club at the end of 2023 and went on to play 36 games across two seasons in the blue and gold.

In 2025, he averaged 19 disposals and four tackles per game, while also kicking three goals — including a two-goal performance against Southport in Round 18.

A former Richmond VFL Premiership player, Collier-Dawkins may not have collected individual accolades during his time at Williamstown, but he was a consistent contributor.

He featured in nearly every game across 2024 and 2025 and finished sixth in the Club’s Best and Fairest in his inaugural season.

Collier-Dawkins departs the Seagulls having worn the number 9 jumper with pride and will now explore playing opportunities elsewhere.

Williamstown GM of Football Operations, Ash Collins, thanked Collier-Dawkins for his contribution over the past two years.

“I’d like to acknowledge Riley’s discipline and maturity. He has been a terrific role model for our group over the past two years, and we thank him for the contribution he’s made to Williamstown,” Collins said.

“We wish Riley all the best with wherever his football takes him next and hope the path he chooses works well for both him and his career.”

Further announcements will be made in the coming weeks as the club looks to add to its VFL list in the lead-up to the 2026 pre-season.
