The 20-year-old returns back to the mainland with an impressive football pedigree, having developed through the Gold Coast Suns Academy before gaining valuable experience across two VFL programs.
A skilful and composed half-back, Beikoff-Smart has established himself as an exciting young prospect, recognised for his clean ball use, decision-making and ability to provide attacking drive out of defence.
The Queensland product made his VFL debut for Gold Coast in 2024, going on to feature in 26 matches for the Suns while continuing his development within the club’s AFL pathway.
Ahead of the 2026 season, Beikoff-Smart attracted interest from WAFL clubs but ultimately elected to relocate to Tasmania, joining the Devils as part of their inaugural VFL squad.
He featured in nine matches for the Devils in 2026, averaging 12.4 disposals and 3.3 marks per game as he continued to develop his craft across half-back.
The move provided the young defender with another opportunity to test himself at state-league level, adapting to a more contested style of football while continuing to develop his defensive craft and ball movement.
Standing at 178cm, Beikoff-Smart brings a combination of speed, versatility and football intelligence, with his ability to rebound from defensive 50 adding another dimension to Williamstown’s backline.
His arrival represents another exciting addition to the Seagulls’ developing list, bringing both senior VFL experience and significant upside at just 20 years of age.
Beikoff-Smart will pull on the blue and gold for the first time in 2027 as Williamstown continues to build its playing list ahead of the new season.
