Bonar, 27, joined the Seagulls ahead of the 2024 season after a 34-game AFL career across GWS and North Melbourne.

Originally selected by GWS as a powerful inside midfielder, Bonar made his AFL debut with the Giants before joining North Melbourne via trade, where he became known for his versatility, aerial ability and explosive athleticism.

After making the move to Williamstown, Bonar quickly became a valued member of the Seagulls’ playing group. Across his time in the blue and gold, he featured in 31 VFL matches, including 11 appearances in 2026.

Bonar produced a consistent campaign in 2026, averaging 16.5 disposals and 6.3 marks per game. His season-best performance came in Round 14 against Footscray, where he collected 22 disposals and eight marks.

His commitment throughout the season was further recognised at Williamstown’s 2026 Presentation Night, where he was named the recipient of the Kelly Brent VFL Medical Team Award. The award recognises players who demonstrate professionalism, resilience and an unwavering commitment to their team throughout rehabilitation and game preparation.

Bonar leaves Williamstown having made a meaningful contribution to the Club and adding to a football journey that included 34 AFL games and more than 47 appearances at VFL level.

Williamstown thanks Aiden for his time devoted to the Seagulls and wishes him and his family all the very best for the next chapter following an impressive football career.
